Garcia elected women’s caucus vice chair

DOWNEY – Assemblymember Cristina Garcia (D-Bell Gardens) has been elected by her peers to serve as vice-chair to the California Legislative Women’s Caucus. The Legislative Women’s Caucus advocates on behalf of the diverse interests of women, children and families throughout California. It also seeks to increase participation and representation of women in state government.

“My top priorities are to see more women represented in positions of leadership and to maximize opportunities for all women,” Garcia said.
