Fundraiser for man killed in crash

DOWNEY -- Friends and family of Bryan Miranda, the Bell resident who was killed in a motorcycle accident in Downey last week, will hold a fundraiser Monday at three local Chili's restaurants.With each flyer presented to Chili's between 3-11 p.m., the restaurant will donate 10 percent of the sales to Miranda's family. The Chili's at Downey Landing - along with locations in Lakewood and Pico Rivera - is participating in the fundraiser. Miranda, 25, was killed March 8 when the motorcycle he was riding crashed into another vehicle at Lakewood and Firestone boulevards.
