Froggy to visit Downey library

DOWNEY - Froggy, the popular character in the picture book series by Jonathan London, will stop by the Downey City Library next week to celebrate National Library Week.Froggy will greet children Tuesday from 10-10:30 a.m. and 6:30-7 p.m.; Wednesday from 10-10:30 a.m.; and Thursday from 6:30-7 p.m. "Be sure to check out some favorite books in the 'Froggy' series, such as 'Froggy Gets Dressed' and 'Froggy Learns to Swim,'" said Children's Librarian Gina Orello.
