Free legal fair planned July 30 in Cudahy
DOWNEY – The Southeast District Bar Association will be holding a legal fair on Saturday, July 30, from 11 am to 3 pm.
Attorney volunteers will be providing free legal consultations to the public.
Downey Attorney Ricardo Perez, who is one of the organizers of the event, stated: “This consultation is with licensed attorneys and completely free of charge. People wishing to speak to an attorney are encouraged to bring all documents that they would like to have reviewed.”
The attorneys attending focus on diffident areas of law, including immigration law, criminal defense, family law issues (such as child support and divorces), and other areas of law.
Additionally, there will be three workshops where attendees can learn vital information on immigration matters such as DACA, criminal record expungements, and tenant rights.
The event will take place at Clara Park, located at 4835 Clara Street, Cudahy, California 90201.
The Southeast District Bar Association, or “SEDBA,” is an association based in the Southeast Los Angeles Region whose members include attorneys and judges. SEDBA’s mission is to provide access to legal services and the judicial system.
