Former NFL, USC football player headlines Downey prayer breakfast

DOWNEY — Former NFL and USC football player Keith Davis will provide the keynote address a the 34th annual Downey Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast, taking place Thursday, Oct. 13, at 7 am at the Rio Hondo Event Center.

At USC, Davis led the team to two Rose Bowl appearances. He led the team in tackles and was named an All-Conference player.

He signed with the New York Giants after college but knee injuries ended his professional career.

Today he works as a motivational speaker and has traveled as far as Zimbabwe for speaking appearances.
