Fireworks show at Downey High School

Thousands of people enjoyed a fireworks show at Downey High School on Wednesday sponspored by Calvary Chapel Church of Downey. Police and fire officials reported only one serious incident, when a 50-year-old man severely injured his leg after lighting an M80 inside a ceramic pot.
