Financial seminars this summer

DOWNEY - Downey Federal Credit Union is sponsoring two financial education workshops this summer, free of charge to local residents.A workshop on June 7 will discuss identity theft and ways to minimize ID theft both online and offline. A workshop on Aug. 4 will discuss financial scams targeted at senior. Officials will identify typical perpetrators and show how to recognize signs of financial exploitation.
