Felony charges filed against trio in major Downey fentanyl bust
LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman is scheduled to hold a news conference today to announce felony charges against three individuals accused of possessing more than 50 pounds of fentanyl with intent to sell, marking a significant development in the region's ongoing battle against the deadly opioid crisis.
Hochman will be joined by California Attorney General Rob Bonta and Downey Police Chief Scott Lougher at a press conference at the Hall of Justice in Los Angeles, where officials will detail the arrests and charges.
