Feast to benefit Downey church

DOWNEY - St. Mark's Episcopal Church is hosting a fundraising dinner Sept. 22 where visitors can choose between tri-tip and lobster - or both.Cost is $40 for a barbecue tri-tip and lobster dinner, or $30 for tri-tip or lobster. Residents can also purchase a lobster to take home for $25. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Take-home lobsters will be distributed between 1-4 p.m. Reservations are due by Sept. 14 by calling (562) 862-3268 or e-mail church@stmarksdowney.org.
