Father-Con hosting luncheon to raise money for its fight against human trafficking
DOWNEY — Father-Con, a Downey-based organization that works to prevent human trafficking by helping men become better fathers, is hosting a fundraising luncheon next Thursday, Sept. 12, at the Springhill Suites in Downey.
The luncheon begins at 11 am. Tickets can be purchased on Event Brite.
“Families today face unique challenges that result in rising divorce rates and threats to children who spend increasing amounts of time online, exposed to predators and human traffickers,” Father-Con representatives said. “This fundraising luncheon will be an inspiring opportunity to learn about the vision and accomplishments of Father-Con as well as hear an illuminating keynote address.”
Patrick Erlandson founded Father-Con six years ago and serves as its executive director.
