Facebook group wants to storm Rancho south campus

This is probably just a very dumb joke, but the Facebook page Strangeways has announced plans to “storm” the abandoned Rancho Los Amigos south campus this Halloween.

Strangeways is a website dedicated to conspiracy theories and the paranormal. They have 254,000 Facebook followers, so they’re not exactly nobodies.

According to their Facebook event page (“Storm Rancho Los Amigos, We Can’t All Get Arrested”), they plan to storm the abandoned property at 10 a.m.

As of Wednesday afternoon, only 12 people had signed up as participants. (So yes, you can all get arrested.) Compare that to Area 51, where 2 million people have signed up to storm the facility on Sept. 20.
