DOWNEY – Downey High’s baseball boosters are hosting an electronic waste recycling event Saturday, Feb. 14, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the school’s southwest parking lot. “We are looking for large items, essentially anything that plugs into the wall that the owner no longer wants or uses,” the boosters club said. “We will also gladly accept all of the small items as well.”
