DUSD postpones Future Freshman Night at Warren High

DOWNEY — The Downey Unified School District released the following statement after postponing Future Freshman Night at Warren High School:

“While there are no restrictions on large social gatherings in Los Angeles County, out of an abundance of caution, we have chosen to postpone Future Freshman Night to a later date; however, Open House for our current students is still going on as planned.

“Historically, Future Freshman Night has been a very popular event, drawing in over 1,000 people. We recognize that this is a very important night for you to receive information about becoming a future Bear; therefore, we are working on a plan to get this information to you in a timely manner. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.”
