Downey's 14u girls' traveling soccer team

For a fourth consecutive time, Downey's 14u girls' traveling soccer team won first place, this time winning Diamond Bar's Cottontail Classic. Downey tied South Pasadena, 2-2, and beat Corona, 3-0, and Diamond Bar, 2-0, to advance to the finals against Chino Hills. The championship game went into two overtimes before Downey won in penalty kicks, 4-3.
