Downey Rose Float

Finishing touches are being made on the Downey Rose Float Association's entry in Saturday's Tournament of Rose Parade. The float, named "A Stroll Down Memory Lane," cost $80,000 to build and features 2,400 yellow roses, 1,625 lavender roses, 3,625 hot pink roses, 1,425 light pink roses and 1,425 orange roses. ********** Published: December 30, 2010 - Volume 9 - Issue 37
