Downey rental prices dipped in October

DOWNEY — Downey rents have declined 0.5% over the past month, but are up slightly by 1.4% in comparison to the same time last year, according to statistics released by Apartment List today.

Currently, median rents in Downey stand at $1,400 for a one-bedroom apartment and $1,800 for a two-bedroom.

Downey's year-over-year rent growth leads the state average of 1.3%, as well as the national average of 1.1%.
