Downey man arrested for filming Long Beach Police employees inside restroom

LONG BEACH -- A 28-year-old Downey man who worked as a clerk at the Long Beach Police Department was arrested after he was allegedly caught filming other employees inside a restroom. 

Sergio Nieto was arrested June 29 after someone noticed "suspicious activity" inside a men's restroom. Police investigated and arrested Nieto on charges that he illegally photographed and videotaped employees inside the restroom.

Long Beach PD suspended Nieto pending further investigation. He is due in court July 25.
