Downey man accused of selling fake Dallas Cowboys tickets

DOWNEY — Texas authorities have issued an arrest warrant for a Downey man who allegedly sold fake tickets to Dallas Cowboys games.

Police in Irving, Tex., issued a warrant for 26-year-old Marco Aguilar after he allegedly sold four phony tickets at a total price of $900.

The buyer, Jamie Davila, took video of Aguilar after purchasing the tickets “as insurance.” Davila contacted police after the tickets turned out to be fakes.

Texas radio station K-LUV 98.7 first reported news of the warrant.
