Downey at 362 coronavirus cases as of Friday

DOWNEY — The number of known coronavirus cases in Downey reached 362 on Friday.

Health officials confirmed 962 new COVID-19 cases across L.A. County and 47 new deaths.

There are 1,733 people who are currently hospitalized with COVID-19 in L.A. County; 25% of these people are in the ICU and 18% are on ventilators.

Testing capacity continues to increase in L.A. County, with testing results available for over 282,000 individuals and 11% of people testing positive.
