Dear Editor:Recently Dr. Wendy Doty, superintendent of Downey schools, met with the staff at Spencer Williams Elementary School. Each year she takes time from her busy schedule to visit each school where she gives a detailed presentation about many things associated with our schools. As a teacher for more than 30 year at Spencer Williams, I was impressed with her passionate, dedicated and thorough presentation. It is obvious she is an outstanding educator who is very knowledgeable and passionate in what she does. She is undoubtedly one of the most outstanding school superintendents in the nation.
