Doctor to discuss thyroid problems

CERRITOS - Dr. Angelyn Moultrie-Lizana of Pioneer Medical Group will lead a lecture on common thyroid conditions and current treatment options Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Cerritos Senior Center.Nearly 6 percent of the U.S. population have thyroid disease. Some thyroid conditions are hard to detect because it mimics other diseases, such as dementia or depression. Wednesday's lecture is free for adults ages 50 and older.
