Doctor to discuss shingles

CERRITOS - Dr. Jorge Echeverri of Pioneer Medical Group will lead a discussion on shingles this Wednesday at 8 a.m. at the Cerritos Senior Center.Each year, more than 1 million American adults are diagnosed with shingles, a painful skin rash. It is caused by the varicella virus, the same virus that causes chickenpox. The seminar is free to adults age 50 and older.
