Diana Biggs passes away at 94

DOWNEY -- Diana E. Biggs 94, passed away June 23 at her Downey home. Diana has been a resident of Downey since 1969.

She was born June 20, 1922 the only daughter of John and Gerda Nielsen. She was married to Eugene Biggs on August 8, 1964.

Diana worked for Santa Fe Railroad for 31 years, retiring as an Executive Secretary. She was very involved with her church activities and friends.

Diana and her husband Gene belonged to a motor home club and enjoyed travelling. She also enjoyed crocheting and cooking, was an avid gardener and enjoyed playing the piano and organ.

Diana volunteered at Downey Community Hospital for several years.

A memorial service for Diana is scheduled on July 16 at 11 am at the First Baptist Church of Downey.
