Dennis Llantada Pascual, 80, was born on November 5, 1938 in the Philippines to Eduardo Pascual and Saturina Llantada and entered into eternal rest on February 15, 2019 in Downey, California.

With hard working hands, Dennis was an engineer for the food refrigeration industry for over 30 years. Dennis has always enjoyed socializing and had many hobbies. In his younger years, he often played tennis and liked to play poker at The Bicycle Club and Commerce Casinos. Over the years, he developed a fondness for chess and always looked forward to seeing his friends at the Downey Senior Center. He was an avid music fan and listened to many kinds of music, with country and disco being a few of his favorites. His family was always dear to his heart and he, along with his wife, Menchie, spent countless hours watching his children’s and grandchildren’s sports and dance activities.

Dennis leaves behind his loving family: Wife, Carmelita Pascual of Downey, California, Son, Randy Pascual of Downey, California, Son, Richard Pascual (Cynthia) of Downey, California, Son, Dennis Pascual Jr. (Ranae) of Germany, Daughter, Maricar Avalos (Eduardo) of Huntington Beach, California, Grandson, Caleb Pascual of Downey, California, Granddaughter, Hayley Pascual of Downey, California, Grandson, Tyler Hongvivat of Downey, California, Granddaughter, Emma Lee Avalos of Huntington Beach, California, Granddaughter, Milla Avalos of Huntington Beach, California, Grandson, Duke Pascual of Germany, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as several other family members and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.

A rosary will be held at Risher Montebello Mortuary on February 24th at 7:00 PM and a mass will be held at St. Raymond’s Church on February 25th at 12:30 PM with a graveside service to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Cypress.
