Crime Report, November 2017
Friday, November 23:
At 8:45 p.m., Downey officers located a vehicle near Firestone Boulevard and Patton Road that had been involved in an armed robbery from the City of Lakewood. Deputies from the Lakewood Sheriff’s Department responded and took custody of the occupants and vehicle.
Saturday, November 25:
At 9:15 a.m., officers located a stolen vehicle in the 10300 block of Foster Rd. The driver was arrested for grand theft auto and the passenger was arrested for disorderly conduct and an outstanding warrant.
At 10 a.m., a male suspect broke into a home in the 1300 block of Blodgett by forcing open a front window. The resident was inside, called 9-1-1 and ran to a neighbor’s house. Officers arrived and found the suspect hiding inside the residence. The suspect was arrested for burglary.
At 10 p.m., Bell police officers located a vehicle used in an assault with a deadly weapon which occurred in Downey earlier in the week. Downey officers responded to the 6500 block of Gage Ave. in the City of Bell and arrested a female suspect for aggravated assault.
Sunday, November 26:
At 5 p.m., officers located a stolen vehicle at Lakewood Blvd. and Florence Ave. The male driver was arrested for grand theft auto.
