Crime Report for week of Dec. 25, 2015

Saturday, December 26:

At 1:30 a.m., Downey Police Officers arrested a 37-year-old man from Pico Rivera after he was caught with narcotics and a firearm.  Downey Police Officers responded to the 10000 block of Imperial Highway after receiving a report of a suspicious man sitting in a car. When officers arrived, the driver ran form the car, but was caught nearby. Officers determined the driver was selling narcotics, was in possession of a firearm, and was a felon. He was arrested and later transported to the Los Angeles County Jail.

At 3:00 a.m., a 46-year-old man from Covina was driving under the influence of alcohol when he was involved in a traffic collision at Telegraph and True. Nobody was injured in the collision, but the intoxicated driver was arrested by Downey Officers for drunk driving.
