Credit union hosting book drive

DOWNEY - Downey Federal Credit Union is collecting donations of new books to benefit Downey students.Residents can bring new books suitable for children ages 5-8 to the main branch on 3rd Street or the express service office located in the lobby of Downey Regional Medical Center. The credit union is also accepting monetary donations, which will be used to purchase new books. The book drive will continue until Dec. 9.
