Comedy show raising money for needy kids in Mexico

Comedian Darren Carter will perform at the Embassy Suites in Downey on Tuesday, Dec. 1, for a fundraiser benefiting needy children in Mexico. 

Tickets are $25 and proceeds will be used to purchase toys for children in Tecate, Mexico. Action Faith Ministries in Downey is producing the event. 

In addition to Carter, also scheduled to perform are Willie Barcena, Shang Forbes, Armando Cosio and Eric Blake.
