College sets commencement date

NORWALK - Cerritos College will hold its 53rd annual commencement ceremony to honor its graduating students May 15 at 5 p.m. in Falcon Stadium.Cerritos College's Board of Trustees will present degree and certificates earned during the 2009-10 academic year. Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe will serve as commencement speaker. Knabe was first elected to the Board of Supervisors in 1996 and was re-elected in 2000, 2004 and 2008. Knabe previously served as a councilmember in Cerritos for eight years. No tickets are required for the commencement ceremony.
