Circus Vargas opens two-week residency at Stonewood Center

DOWNEY — Circus Vargas will unveil its newest production, “The Circus Vargas Express,” under the big top at Stonewood Center.

The show opens tonight at 7:30 pm and runs through May 9.

The production follows an international cast of characters who board the Circus Vargas Express train to travel the country. Despite cultural and language differences, the array of performers manage to come together to create an exciting and entertaining extravaganza.

“We are like our own mini United Nations here,” said Katya Quiroga, co-owner and CEO of Circus Vargas. “Everyone will get a taste of the different countries represented and enjoy two hours of thrills and excitement.”
