Circus Vargas bringing big top show to Downey

DOWNEY – Circus Vargas, the traveling extravaganza featuring acrobats, daredevils, a flying trapeze, and other spectacles, is coming to Stonewood Center next week.

The two-hour show also features performances by aerialists, jugglers, contortionists, clowns, motorcycles, and more.

No animals are used in Circus Vargas, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

Audience members are invited to arrive 30 minutes early for an interactive pre-show celebration, where kids can create their own magic under the big top, learning circus skills such as juggling, balancing and more.

Guests can also meet and mingle with the entire cast after each performance. Circus performers are happy to pose for photos and selfies.
