Church marks St. Joseph’s Table

DOWNEY – St. Raymond’s Catholic Church will celebrate St. Joseph’s Table March 21-22. The schedule includes a liturgy at 5 p.m. on March 21, following by a blessing and dinner from 6-8 p.m.

On March 22, there will be a viewing from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., with sandwiches and pastries served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

St. Joseph’s Table is a tradition started centuries ago by Italian Catholics to publicly celebrate Saint Joseph, the husband of the Virgin Mary.
