Church collecting gift boxes

DOWNEY - Downey Calvary Chapel is serving as a drop-off location for Operation Christmas Child, a worldwide effort to collect gift boxes for needy children.Local residents can contribute by filling empty shoe boxes with school supplies, toys, hygiene items and notes of encouragement for needy kids overseas.
