Church celebrates Mother’s Day

DOWNEY – Vine Christian Fellowship will host a Mother’s Day celebration May 10 starting at 12:45 p.m. Following a bilingual sermon by Pastor Aaron Gurrola, a photogrpaher will be available for family photos. There will also be catered food, baby dedications, and baptisms.

“Our event is entirely free and we especially encourage everyone to invite any and all mothers so we can celebrate them,” the church said.

Vine Christian Fellowship is at 11610 Lakewood Blvd., across from the Coca-Cola bottling plant.
