Chester Dorazio, WWII veteran, mourned

DOWNEY - Downey resident Chester Dorazio, born May 12, 1924 in Huntington Park, passed away Feb. 21 at home surrounded by loved ones.He served in the Army during World War II, from August 1943 to February 1946. He is survived by his wife, Bertha; daughter, Kathy (Greg) Bland; grandchildren, Alexis and Jonathan; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Vigil services were held in his honor March 1 at Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary. A funeral mass is scheduled for March 2 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Interment is at Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello.
