Chance to meet DUSD tutors

DOWNEY - Parents of DUSD middle school students can learn about the school district's after-school tutoring program by attending an event Jan. 22 at Sussman Middle School from 9 a.m. to noon.Tutors will be on-site to meet with parents and answer questions. Free after-school tutoring is available only for middle school students who receive free or reduced-price meals at school. Sussman Middle School is at 12500 Birchdale Avenue, near Imperial Highway and Lakewood Boulevard. The event will take place in the cafeteria.
