Chamber celebrating anniversary

DOWNEY - The Downey Chamber of Commerce will celebrate their 106th anniversary with a luncheon Jan. 23 at the Embassy Suites.Longtime Chamber members will speak at the event, and new members and past presidents will be recognized. Certificates will be awarded to five, 10, 15 and 20-year members. Plaques will be presented to longer serving members. Sponsored by Kaiser Permanente, the luncheon is $25 and begins at 11:45 a.m. Reservations are due by Jan. 19.
