Carnival of Champions

About 500 boys and girls competed in several track and field events April 25 as part of the 51st annual Carnival of Champions. Old Rivery Elementary won the competition with 225 points, followed closely by Rio San Gabriel (second place) and Price (third).

The competition was held at Warren High and featured fourth- and fifth-graders competing in the standing long jump, 50-meter dash, 100-meter dash, four-member team 400-meter relay, mixed co-ed relay, softball throw for distance, and baskets in one minute.
