CareMore annual Holiday Turkey Giveaway winner Edgar Mann

Downey resident and CareMore member Edgar Mann received a free Thanksgiving meal thanks to CareMore Health System’s annual Holiday Turkey Giveaway event. The CareMore Bus delivered a turkey and accompanying side dishes and gifts on Nov. 25 to his home in Los Angeles. CareMore staff delivered the meal to Mann’s door as part of the Health System’s initiative to give back to seniors unable to attend local events and assist in making their holidays a little bit brighter.

As part of CareMore’s community outreach efforts, it delivered several Turkey and Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaways during the month of November in hopes of bringing holiday cheer to local seniors who cannot attend events at their local CareMore Care Centers. CareMore highly values its involvement with the communities it serves.
