Calvary Chapel grad finishes basic training

DOWNEY - Air Force Airman Matthew Ruff has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.Ruff completed an intensive eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. He also earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Ruff graduated from Calvary Chapel Downey High School in 2008. He is the son of Marilyn Ruff, of Cypress.
