Bellflower church hosting festival

BELLFLOWER - Saint George Coptic Orthodox Church of Bellflower will celebrate its annual festival this weekend, Nov. 5-6.The festival begins Saturday with the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, starting at 8 a.m., followed by a groundbreaking for a new building at 11 a.m. The festival will offer a glimpse of the ancient Egyptian Coptic Christian culture - artwork, food, music - that had been established in the first century by St. Mark the Apostle.
