Barbershop offers free haircuts for vets

DOWNEY – Pride Barbershop, a new barbershop owned by a combat veteran, is offering free haircuts to military veterans this Tuesday, Veterans Day. A picture ID with proof of service is required. Donations will also be accepted on behalf of Honorable Recharge, a nonprofit group that works with returning troops.

Members of Honorable Recharge will be on-site, providing shirts to men and women, along with giveaways, brochures and stickers.

Pride Barbershop is located at 8317 Firestone Blvd., east of Downey Avenue.
