DOWNEY – Ferias Legales, a Downey-based non-profit organization, is launching its monthly community legal clinics in partnership with Councilmember Mario Trujillo.

Clinics will be held every third Saturday of the month and begin this Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Barbara J. Riley Community Center from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Various licensed attorneys will be providing free legal consultations in the areas of immigration law, tenants rights, family law, criminal defense, personal injury, and civil rights.

People wishing to become citizens are encouraged to attend, as immigration attorneys will be screening for eligibility, advising on the naturalization application, and assisting with fee waiver applications.
