Arts coalition meets Saturday

DOWNEY - Jay Lopez, founder of the Downtown L.A. Art Walk and an "established arts and culture consultant," will meet with the Downey Arts Coalition on April 30 at 2 p.m. inside the green room at the Downey Theatre. The meeting is open to the public.According to a press release, the coalition "is in its formative stages and currently serves as an open forum for the community to come together and support Downey's current arts organizations as well as encourage new arts initiatives in the city."
