Artist to demonstrate work

DOWNEY - Watercolor artist Juan "Magoo" Valencia, originally from the Philippines, will give a demonstration of his work Tuesday at Furman Park starting at 7:30 p.m.Valencia was featured in eight one-man shows and more than 100 group art shows in the Philippines, where he was founding member of the Philippines Watercolor Society. He also worked as a watercolor instructor at the Ayala Museum in the Philippines before moving permanently to the United States. Valencia's presentation is part of the Downey Art League's regular meeting.
