Apologies should be accepted

Dear Editor:I am writing in regards to Eric Pierce's article "Let It Go" (9/18/09). How true this is. I agree that people should just let it go when someone apologizes. I know we all should think before we speak but sometimes a person just does it without thinking when they are upset. I do enjoy reading the editorial columns in your paper. I really do enjoy this paper and hope it continues being published. - Rosemary Thies, South Gate
