Angel Enriquez

A team of Downey residents helped pull a FedEx Airbus 310 Aircraft a total distance of 24 feet on the tarmac of the Long Beach Airport as part of a fundraiser benefiting the Special Olympics.By pulling a rope attached to the airplane's front wheels, teams of 25 competed against each other for bragging rights as the strongest and fastest in their division. The Downey team was representing Angel Enriquez, a Special Olympics athlete from Downey. The team raised $1,500 for the Special Olympics.
