Alta Morelli was president of Christian Woman's Club

DOWNEY – Alta Morelli passed away peacefully in her home on July 6 at the age of 82. 
Alta was born Dec. 29, 1932 and raised in Curtis, Nebr., where she returned often for family reunions. 

Alta was an active member of the Downey community. She has been the long time president of the Christian Woman’s Club of Downey, leading the weekly Bible study and monthly luncheon meetings. She attended Calvary Chapel Church of Downey. 

Alta was preceded in death by her husband. Joe Morelli. She is survived by her son Nick Morelli of Norwalk, her sister Zella Clawson and brothers Delbert and Charles Clawson.
