24 Hour Fitness opens Saturday

DOWNEY – 24 Hour Fitness will become the first anchor tenant to open at the Promenade at Downey when it opens its doors this Saturday at 9 a.m. 

“It’s an exciting time for the city of Downey. We’re honored to be the first tenant to open in the complex and look forward to serving as The Promenade’s new business ‘ambassador,’” said Miguel Gonzalez, club manager for 24 Hour Fitness Downey.  

“We plan to become the health and fitness destination for Downey—with great tools, a variety of fitness and group exercise programs, movement experts and more, to help members live their best lives now. We’re the perfect choice to help Downey residents begin their 2016 fitness journey.”

The fitness center spans two levels and 42,000 square feet. Among its amenities are cardio, strength and functional trianing equipment; a basketball court; an indoor pool, whirlpool, steam room and sauna; towel service; personal and group training services; and a Kid’s Club. 

Cinemark, a 14-screen upscale movie theater, is scheduled to open Dec. 11.
