Letter to the Editor: Clancey Avenue 'repairs'
Dear Editor:
So I came home for the weekend on Friday evening (March 18) to find "repairs" to Clancey Avenue between Irwingrove and Gotham.
The repairs consist of 6 asphalt patches measuring about 6 X ^ feet square within a length of the street of about 100 feet. The road is still rough, alligatored and ready to spew at least a half-dozen new potholes.
Until the city gets serious about repairing and maintaining the roads and infrastructure, I will not be voting for any increase of taxes, or bond measures. The city is like a delinquent debtor and I no longer trust them to spend the tax dollars they collect in a wise and prudent manner.
